Judy Martin (journalist)

Judy Martin is an Emmy award-winning American broadcast journalist, author and speaker. She was born in Brooklyn, New York to a mom who was an opera singer and a dad who had a penchant for news. The theatrical mix lead her to the newsroom. Judy's work has been heard on NPR News, BBC Radio 3, The World, The Marketplace Report, and The World Vision Report. She has also anchored for The News 12 Networks and the Dish Network’s HD-News.

Judy is known for her coverage of the 9/11 Terror Attacks, Hurricane Andrew and the Avianca plane crash. She is an active volunteer with Hospice of Rockland. In the aftermath of September 11th, she reported by day and worked with the children impacted by the terror attacks by night.
